Since forming in 2004, Oasish, have quickly become the most sought after oasis tribute band in the UK. Not only does the band feature many professional musicians, it also features members that have played the bigger stages with names such as Robbie Williams, Pete Townshend (The Who), Bryan Adams, Chesney Hawkes, Nik Kershaw, Jason Donovan plus many more…

Boasting a back-line that matches the same amps that oasis use, Oasish also use the same instruments as well. Indeed, the “Noel” uses either a Sunburst Gibson Les Paul, Cherry Red Gibson ES335 or the Union Jack Epiphone Supernova, the signature guitar that Noel helped design after appearing with one at the Maine Road show in Manchester in the mid 90’s.

Also, these days, “Liam” will be seen wearing the exact same Pretty Green Parka that Liam Gallagher wore on the bands final tour before they sadly split in August 2009.

These things are not just there for the hell of it. They are there because Oasish bring you the ultimate oasis experience right from the very start of the show to the very last chord. It’s this attention to detail that sets Oasish apart from all the other oasis tributes out there. The attitude. The swagger. The onstage banter in between songs. You will have to pinch yourself just to check you haven’t slipped back a decade and are watching the oasis of old all over again.

Such is the demand for Oasish, they are now the ONLY band ever to have played at the now World famous Glastonbudget Tribute Band Festival EVERY YEAR it has been running. The highlight of this was being asked to headline the whole weekend and close the Sunday night on the main stage in 2009.

Rising to the occasion was something that has so far never been surpassed by the festival organisers. Taking the stage with Oasish were The Belladonna’s, a string quartet from Leicestershire and a live keyboard player. The show was amazing and is still talked about to this day.

    Terms and Conditions

    Starting and finishing times are subject to change up to the event date – we will update you of changes.

    No cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices

    No food, bottles or cans, cardboard container drinks – there will be various food outlets available.

    No alcohol or illegal substances can be brought into the site – anyone caught with illegal substance(s) will have their ticket made invalid and be reported to the relevant authorities, no refunds will be given.

    Please follow the instructions of the venue and event staff. Guests that cause a disturbance to others, or fail to follow the instructions of the event staff may be forcibly removed from the event without refund.

    Guests are responsible for the security of all of their personal belongings.

    The event venue operators, organisers, promoters, and artists cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property, nor accidents resulting in injury occurring anywhere in, or outside, the venue during the event regardless of fault or reason.

    Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

    A blue badge or proof of receipt of DLA must be presented in order to access the disabled Viewing Platform. Disabled ticket holders only. Disabled ticket must be purchased at the town hall and are available on a first come first served basis. A limited number of tickets are made available.

    No umbrellas permitted.

    Dogs are not permitted.

    Any form of gazebos and tents are prohibited.

    If you are wishing to bring folding chairs and blankets these will be only permitted in the designated picnic area to the rear of the site. To be able to do this you must buy a “Chair Ticket”, these are in limited quantity and are sold first come first serve basis.

    No smoking in the arena except at designated smoking points.

    We can’t offer any exchanges or refunds. Please note: before buying tickets it’s really important to double check all the event details and make sure you’re 100% happy before going ahead.

    What is Newark Festival?

    Newark Festival returns in 2017 for another colourful weekend of fun and entertainment. This latest edition of Newark’s most popular event, now in its seventh year, will see a host of acts take to the stage as we bring you a spectacular array of music to appeal to all tastes. Once again we will transform Riverside Park into the ultimate festival experience, with Newark Castle providing a stunning backdrop.

    Can I apply to play at Newark Festival?

    Both Friday and Saturday acts have already been confirmed however we are always on the look-out for great new talent locally and if you are a local band interested in performing at the Family Fun Day on the Sunday of the festival weekend then please fill out the Contact Us form.

    How do I get press accreditation?

    Please contact us using the Contact Us form and a member of our events team will be in touch to arrange passes and accreditation.

    Is the Festival outside?

    Yes, the festival is outside and there will be no covering. Whatever the weather Newark Festival is here to lighten up your weekend so be sure to still come along but dress for the weather accordingly.

    What time do gates open?

    Gates will open at 17.00 on Friday 16th June for Riverside Rocks. The gates will open at 14.00 on Saturday 17th June. Gates will open at 12.00 – midday.

    What time are the acts on?

    Times are still to be confirmed and will be released closer to the festival date. If you have purchased a ticket we will email you when they have been confirmed. Please keep an eye on the Newark Festival website and social media for updates.

    Can I smoke in the Festival?

    Please respect other festival-goers by only smoking at the designated smoking points, which are clearly marked.

    Am I allowed to bring food and drink into the Festival?

    No food, bottles, cans or cardboard container drinks are allowed on the festival site – but don’t worry; there are plenty of food outlets within the festival site and you will find something for all tastes to enjoy.

    Strictly no glass is allowed on the festival site.

    Alcohol is also not permitted. There will be a bar available to purchase alcohol. Anyone who appears to be under 25 will be asked to present a valid form of ID when purchasing alcohol.

    If you have special dietary requirements, we completely understand that the festival provisions may not be compatible, so please visit our box office at the entrance to the grounds before entering. All drinks must be sealed or in a clear through container.

    Can I re-enter the Festival site?

    No re-admission is allowed on Friday 16 June Riverside Rocks, when you have gone through the ticket gates so please ensure you have everything you need with you. There are sufficient toilet, bar and food provisions within the site.

    Saturday 17 June re-admission is allowed and you will be provided with accreditation to do so.

    Can I bring my chair?

    If you are wishing to bring folding chairs and blankets these will be only permitted in the designated picnic area to the rear of the site, you need to buy a Chair Ticket. These are sold on a first come first served basis with a very limited amount, buy now to not be disappointed.

    Any form of gazebos and tents are strictly prohibited and we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone carrying these items.

    General tickets are standing only.

    What is an Early-Bird Ticket?

    If you buy an early-bird ticket during the early bird sale period you will have obtained 2017 tickets at a reduced price – this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the festival at a special rate for a limited time.

    Do I need to buy my child a Ticket?

    Yes, if they are 16 or under, you can purchase a discounted child’s ticket. If your child is younger than five they are entitled to free admission with an adult ticket.

    Can I buy tickets on the day?

    Absolutely – subject to availability. The festival is growing in popularity with 2016 our busiest year yet. We expect to see an even greater response in 2017 so if you can buy beforehand we would highly recommend to avoid any disappointment.

    Are Disabled Tickets available?

    Disabled tickets can only be purchased directly from Newark Town Council located in the Butter Market at the market square. A disabled ticket is sold at full price and allows you to bring along a carer free of charge. Disabled parking passes are also available from Newark Town Council.

    Do you have provisions for disabled people?

    We have disabled toilets and parking, so access is easier. For a disabled parking pass please enquire when purchasing a ticket at Newark Town Council. If you have purchased a disabled ticket then this gives you access to the disabled viewing platform and you will be guided by stewards on the day.

    Newark Festival Tickets – Eventbrite

    If you have purchased any tickets through the Newark Festival Website (Eventbrite), these are print at home tickets. Please check your e-mail inboxes and that your e-mail address is correct when purchasing tickets. If you haven’t received a confirmation e-mail please contact us using the Contact Us form.

    If you have bought your tickets from a ticket agent, you will need to contact the ticketing operator you ordered with and they will instruct you on what to do next. Tickets are usually delivered two weeks before the event and sometimes if you have purchased only a few days before the event they will be at the box office for you for collection.
